As a marine biologist from the Bahamas, I'm often diving into the beauty of the ocean, but my recent stay at the Wembley was more about enjoying a bit of city life. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable, a much-needed retreat after a busy day. I did encounter a few cleanliness issues; Three strands of hair greeted me on the bed, which prompted a call to reception. While they were quick to offer another room, I'd already settled in, and I didn't feel confident the next one would be cleaner. A few dusty surfaces were also noted. The staff did respond promptly when I requested more tea and milk. Despite the lovely staff and convenient location, the hotel felt dated. I'd recommend packing some disinfectant spray, especially if staying during an event when prices soar over £300-seems steep for the overall experience.
